WIP HGUC 1/144 Sinanju - The 3x faster kit is coming alive

No idea what title I should put now, 'coz it's too scramble around the kit..^^"

But anyway, been cement the helmet after the monoeye mod though, already sand it & top coat it with gloss coat.

Restricted movement on knee is very pain....I ish no love for this restricted bending.....

80% look. I RIKE !

Just a heads up, the vents that supposely orange-ish yellow, is painted to gray. =)

Had a trouble while putting the foil sticker onto the shield.....which I end up, scrap the foil sticker & leave it as was now, quite ok what wasn't ?

The moment where Unicorn meets hand-less Sinanju.

Hand-less doesn't mean Sinanju can't wield/hold the zook, which snatched from Unicorn's back, 3x faster than Unicorn. LoLz.

While wandering around the elevator section, he discover something very epic....

A Black Sinanju. EPIC RULEZ. *insert song - FULL FRONTAL*

& he decide to pic with the epic embodiment. Haha.

Almost finish with this beast, gonna work 3x faster now.

=D

WIP HGUC 1/144 Sinanju - 70% done, well yeah.

1 step at a time, that's what I always did no matter what.

1st up, from previous post about lower shoulder areas, done with the sanding, painted with gray gundam marker.

The same problem like in MG, monoeye cannot be seen if snap fit all the parts for the head. So, just like the MG counterpart, I've mod just abit on 2 areas:

The faceplate must be clear abit for the eye to be seen.

& the helmet must be sand until ya can see the eye.

Sorry for the dark pics, but this how it should look like when done correctly. =)

Now, to the part where Tsuki mention in Facebook, OK that's really big gap, cement it 3 times already still can see it...I don't know how many times already I've cement>sand>cement>sand already....

Very tiring part indeed....

But, I manage to do it though ~

Last minute top coat after rain (& it's sunny bright again yay~) on the parts where emblems are in together 1st.

Mitte ! Visible monoeye is epic.

Ops, blurred pic, my bad..but that's not what I wanted to show actually...I was aiming at the shoulders.

To be honest, IT STILL VISIBLE AFTER TOP COAT. Ugu...semi-fail this time...

& another semi-fail moments.

The black contrast on the shield (top, area with emblem) has 2 tone of black...Ugh... Rush job indeed pain to my @ss...>.<"

WIP HGUC 1/144 Sinanju - 30% progress done

Finally realize that on previous post I was wondering about which part that has the "big & fugly seam lines".....

Turns out that it was the top part snap fitted fir bottom parts, forming 1 visible seam line on it.

Yeah, well I know this is the wrong side but, wouldn't hurt to seamline remove it though. =)

Arms, half of the shoulders & body complete. NAIS.

While I was fixing the head (other than short neck, which is going to fix it soon), I notice that the front helmet totally block the monoeye.

Lesson 101 : Thou shall make way for teh uber monoeye.

So, I shall do it, but 1st, identify the problem.

Ok, obvious enough, it's the front helmet. ^^"

Gotta sand & scrap it later, but 1st....

Oh ~ Car show tomorrow at Komplex Asia City ~ NAIS ~ I RIKE

=)

WIP HGUC 1/144 Sinanju - Shoulder seamlines, was it that one ?

Before that, done deco our office with 1 lil' tree ~

Ok moving on. Ehem. I'm not quite certain which part did Tsuki mentioned about the shoulder seam line, 'coz I only found this 1 only eh...

Maybe the another side which I haven't assemble it just yet, but for that, it's easy ar. Slap thick layers of cement & left it overnight then sand it off would solve it, most of the time from my case. =)

Can wait to sand it tomorrow. =^^=

Panel line & painted Gray gundam marker underneath the shoulder. I still need to paint more areas 'coz it doesn't look nice just like that.

Gosh I hate sanding on this parts...>.<"

WIP HGUC 1/144 Sinanju - Flawless seamline removal

As title said, this is continuous from previous works, seamlines removal on the arm.

But before that, a view inside Hobby Kingdom........

Yesh, playing PS3 ~ Hahaha....

Continue.

Yesterday I had sandwich'd both arms with quite thick layers of cement deluxe here. & here's the result after sand 'em.

Can't see ? Lemme get ya closer look.

Smooth beh beh ! Finally it's worth the wait ~

& yeah, I was working on that hobby shop, table very small also....so everyday I just took an hour + to do it, trying to do 3x faster haha !

=)
