Sangokuden X Stikfas

Huh, quite a while didn't upload any of my gunpla work, so here's the latest work I've done.

As you guys read on the title, yes on this kit I didn't mod the joints with the Koto option parts, but instead, I sacrifice a Stikfas in order to merge it with gunpla. The result?

Nice bor ? Only heights that I haven't fix 'em yet. But so far, it looks cool to me even just a quick fix.

The arm, well, can do almost the same with Koto option parts, but much nicer look.

....& had problem make it stand on 1 feet, haha...

A "cut & paste" work on the kit. LoLz but impressive result. ^^

Photobucket

It even can do acrobat pose like this.

Photobucket

& err...I forgot why I pose it this way..maybe it's just cool. LoLz.

& last pics, with the sword on hand. Much more natural look this way than using Koto option parts.

So, all the work I did is within an hour for each day, so took me about 5 days to mod this kit, in the simplest way.

& yeah, pity the Stikfas that I've used....(LoLz.)

So, yeah, next would be clean 'em up before put any colors on it. Stay tuned !

=)

Very creative use of stikfas and nice improvisation by combining both stikfas and gunpla together. Stikfas has a great range of posabilty, and I'm very excited to see how the completed work turns out.
By the way ,how much does on 1 stikfas cost? If it's cheaper than kotobukiya optional parts, than stikfas would be a great alternative.

Yes stikfas by far more cheaper than a set of kotobukiya option parts, which is a good news for me. =D So far I still want to give a nicer look 'coz now it's too scratchbuild for my liking.
In East Malaysia, a basic baseball stikfas cost my around MYR15, whilea kotobukiya parts cost around MYR30++.

Nice work you have there! Cant wait to see the final product.

By the way, I will be in KK end of this week (25th October). Would you like to meet up for a drink and at the same time chat about modelling? Modellers are rare in Sabah after all. :D
